For the beachgoers, a walk down Walker Street will have you there easily, and for the biking and hiking enthusiasts the five mile Shining Sea Bike Path that meanders through salt ponds, wildlife sanctuaries and along beautiful Vineyard Sound is just down the street. No need to mention all the challenging golf courses available to the avid golfer throughout the year.

Theater goers will have an opportunity to take in the fine performances of the College Light Opera Company at Highfield Hall. Visitors traveling on to Martha’s Vineyard will have easy access to the Steamship Authority Ferry Service at Wood’s Hole, which is another wonderful stop that should be included in your stay. It is home to the world famous Oceanographic Institution and is worth a stroll up and down its quaint little village.
